AlbondonThe small, historical town of Albondon was once an important town during the Arab occupation.
Located on the Costa Tropical in the province of Granada, in Andalusia; today this typical whitewashed village is a thriving agricultural area and enjoys a privileged location.
HistoryThe town was in its splendour during the Arab occupation, being an important town for farming. During the 19th century the area became a large producer of wine and sultanas, and from there
the population grew.
About townThe town is very laid back and provides basic amenities, shops, bars and restaurants, for your stay.
The pretty parish church of San Luis is home to the famous sculpture of the Virgin Mary sculpted by Jose de
Mora.
