Very charming and spacious villa (GPS coordinates: 36° 44' 45" N 3° 37' 59" W), situated in a quiet urbanization right in between the two coastal villages Salobreña and Almuñécar. The urbanization is very well kept and the properties are owned by many different nationalities including French, German, Belgian, Scandinavian, Spanish and English. It also has a community swimming pool and a tennis court (both to be used for free) at walking distance. Down the road a bus stops with hourly connections to Salobreña, Almuñécar, Granada and Málaga.
Our villa, ‘Villa Vistasmar’, is south facing and is surrounded by lots of terraces (450 sqm), gardens and enjoys breathtaking sea views. It was fully restored two years ago (new kitchens, bathrooms and terraces etc.) and has very good access. Situated only a few hundred meters away from the N340 and 400 meters from the sea and a little beach. The villa has four bedrooms (three on the main floor and one in the guest apartment), four bathrooms and two modern fitted kitchens. The main floor holds a comfortable and spacious living room with a fireplace and lots of sofas to relax. The apartment bedroom (14 m2) sleeps two persons, but in case a group of ten guests will stay, the sofa bed can be used. There are Smart TV’s with satellite and WiFi internet connections. The villa has central heating and therefore it is also very comfortable during winter time.
There are a kidney-shaped swimming pool (2/4,50 x 10 meters), five terraces (each with sofas, sun loungers, tables and chairs) and lovely gardens with flowers and tropical trees. The villa offers lots of privacy. In the near environment you can walk, bike, play golf, go horse riding and both Salobreña and Almuñécar offer a variety of good restaurants.
We have left the original details intact, so the villa has the typical Spanish atmosphere. We added some luxury, without trying to be too perfect or decadent. The villa is nicely situated on top of a hill, overlooking the Mediterranean Sea, Salobreña, Motril, Torrenueva and the urbanization. There is actually too much you can see and do. You can go for a walk in the mountains, go for skiing in the Sierra Nevada (only a one hour drive), visit the Alhambra, go to the prehistoric caves of Nerja or enjoy a walk in prize winning Frigiliana …
The most surprising advantage of the villa is the combination of enjoying the tranquility of a seaside villa on one side and the liveliness of the coastal area on the other hand. Especially in July and August it may get very busy in Salobreña and Almuñécar. When you are in or around the villa and relaxing on one of the terraces, it may occur that the shepherd and his sheep pass by! The breathtaking sea views in front of you and the always changing sunrises and -sets are also hard to describe.

Every bedroom in Villa Vistasmar has a king size bed and a fan. We have not chosen for airconditioning as such a system makes the air very dry. Besides this, because of the double, isolating walls, in winter temperatures in Villa Vistasmar rarely drop below 17 degrees and in summer these will almost never exceed 26 degrees. We have also installed central heating throughout the villa. Our experience however is that we never had to use it.
We'd like to offer you and guests who will stay the week(s) after you an unforgettable stay. So please note that Villa Vistasmar is a non-smoking area and smoking is only allowed outside the Villa.
The main kitchen contains a dishwasher, freezer, fridge, coffee machine, grill, hob, microwave, oven, blender, kettle and a toaster. The studio's kitchen contains the same, except for a grill & oven. Please make sure that these devices are empty and clean when you check out. Please note that it is very important not to leave any food and leftovers in the villa.
Villa Vistasmar has a good working wifi-connection. However, when all of the guests are using a lot of bandwidth at the same time, the transfer of data may slow down.
We provide three towels per person. A beach towel, a bath towel and a small sized towel. In the fourth bathroom we have installed a washing machine. In case stains have come all over your favourite garment or you ran out of towels, please feel free to use the washing machine.
The garage is used for storage of the garden furniture, the table tennis table, tools etc. You can park two cars on the path that leads to the garage. In front of Villa Vistasmar there is room to park at least another six cars.
You can reach the communal pool and tennis court by strolling down five minutes. Keys to open are stored in the Villa. The communal pool opens from july till september, the tennis court opens all year round. Los Moriscos golf is only a ten minutes drive away. Within 35 minutes you will find another four 18-holes golf courses.
Every week our pool man stops by the Villa to check the levels and to clean the pool floor.
Villa Vistasmar has various areas where flowers and plants are reaching out for some shade after another sunny day. Please feel free to water these from time to time!

When including the guest apartment (seven persons or more), we charge EUR 10 to 20 (depending on the season) per person extra per night (with a minimum of two persons, up to four persons in total for the apartment). Guests can arrive in the Villa as of 17.00 hrs in the afternoon and should have left the Villa at 10.00 hrs in the morning at the latest. Swimming pool is opened April till end of November. Prices are all inclusive. Discounts available for long lets, only in winter. During winter (beginning of November - end of March) costs for electricity and central heating (gas) are not included in the price (except for one bottle).
