THE OLIVE MILL, LA MURADA... Close to Orihuela & Fortuna and convenient to both Alicante/Murcia Airports.

As the name suggests, this once working Olive Mill has been converted by its owners with much Tender Loving Care- Many original features remain which add to the overall ambience.
We provide the ideal rural and tranquil setting, which is popular. Far enough away from the busy Costa crowds and complexes, but in reality not far away from anything!
Orange and Lemon groves spread as far as the eye can see, and the mountain views are stunning.
Ideal for people who just like to relax & unwind, maybe lose themselves for a while, but only a short drive from the beautiful Mediterranean beaches and popular coastal resorts and tourist attractions.
A peaceful holiday retreat AND a good base for sight-seeing, bird watching, walking and climbing. The area is ideal if you are house hunting on the COSTA BLANCA/COSTA CALIDA, and there are many golf courses.
SO MUCH CHOICE for an Adult Only Holiday or a few days away. Couples, Singles, Friends- Everyone Welcome.

ACCOMMODATION
Book both cottages (Ideal for couples/friends or family with teenagers) Young children NOT permitted. No pets allowed.

APARTMENTS
Renovated to a high standard,feature real beams,spacious but homely. Each cottage sleeps 2 people. They have a LOUNGE/DINER with patio doors to own terrace with seating. GALLEY KITCHEN with hob/ fridge/ freezer/ microwave. BATHROOM with power shower and a seperate BEDROOM with twin beds, wardrobe space and hairdryer. Fully equipped for self catering but we offer a pool-side bar and meals for guests... Self Cater or be catered for OR Mix and Match, the choice is yours!

THE GARDENS/ POOL AREA
Pretty and tidy, tall old pines provide natural shade and seating, a Summer siesta in the hammock is a must during your stay! Large Private Pool, lots of terrace space. Infact you are spoilt for choice with space, 2 people can often be considered as a crowd! Sunbeds, cushions and umbrellas provided FREE of charge.
Owners have bikes (2) for daily hire.

LOCATION
Local village of La Murada(once known as Los Vicentes) just a 5 minute drive/3km, all amenities including banks, bars/cafes, supermarkets, shops, medical and a large Sunday market. Part of the Alicante Province, La Murada sits on the Murcia border, so an excellent choice for both regions. A hire car is strongly recommended although airport transfers are available.
Alicante Airport 30 minutes drive-The better choice.
Murcia Airport (San Javier)50 minutes drive-Second choice.
Motorway driving (no tolls) from both airports.

Maps/ Directions on owners website. The owners will ALWAYS be available to meet you upon arrival, any time of the day or night!

IMPORTANT THINGS TO CONSIDER
We cater for your needs and offer evening meals, BBQS & snacks, Quiet Bar and Quality local wines. During the Winter months, meals are served to you in the comfort of the apartment..'Meals on Wheels'. Summer dining is offered Alfresco by the pool. No need to self cater, put your feet up and let us do the rest for you if required.

REMEMBER.. Owners live on site. Your hosts offer a warm and friendly welcome, and are there to help if needed, but respect your privacy at all times. You will find all the information on their extensive website, please ask for details.

SURROUNDINGS/ WHAT TO DO/ A FEW IDEAS

LA MURADA- Typical Spanish and friendly. For a peaceful setting with coffee/wine and tapas, a cafe seat in the church square, watching & listening to the locals is great. The Sunday market is popular, all shops & supermarkets are open and the busy atmosphere is fun.
ORIHUELA- A City full of history, its’ ornate old buildings and museums are not to be missed. You will also find many stores, fashion, perfumeries, hypermarkets and quaint shops tucked away in the cobbled streets.
BENIDORM- Water/ animal parks & attractions and Terra Mitica, the Meds’ leading theme park (55 mins)
BEACHES- MarMenor beautiful coastline, but the closest is Guadamar (40 mins)
TORREVIEJA- Busy coastal/tourist resort & a large Friday market (45 mins)
FORTUNA- Banos spa & treatments, thermal pool, restaurants, beautiful relaxing setting and day passes available (20 mins) Also spas at Archena.
ALICANTE/MURCIA- Both beautiful cities, shopping & history and the harbour/marina/Castle at Alicante. By train (50 mins) about 5€ return ticket. El Corte Ingles Department stores.
JUMILLA- Ideal for Wine Buffs. Famous for its vineyards, wine museum and monastery.
ELCHE- City of Palms, beautiful to explore.Shops and El Corte Ingles Department store. Rio safari park.
MARKETS- Daily in the area.

BIRD WATCHING- La Mata/ El Hondo/ Santa Pola nature parks.
CLIMBING- Orihuela/ Callosa/ Redovan
