Dating back to the 16th century, this delightful property is situated on the edge of a tiny hamlet, Creixell.

The 16th century gates lead through to its pool and terraces. The original wing of the house has a wonderful Gothic staircase. Here you'll find the open-plan living/dining room, kitchen and shower room. The bedrooms, bathroom and another shower room are in a separate wing, accessed via a covered terrace. The beautiful dining room - seating 14 - overlooks a duck pond. There's a well equipped farmhouse kitchen with large Catalan fireplace. (There is no exterior window in the kitchen due to village preservation laws.)

Creixell is home to only 20 year-round residents and a small seasonal restaurant. Nearby Borrassa has two small supermarkets, a chemist and an excellent butcher. Visit the bustling town of Figueras, made famous by Salvador Dalí. There are also trains from Figueras to Barcelona. See the historic city of Girona, cross the border into France or take a short drive to the coast.

Separate Wing (via covered terrace): Ground Floor: 3 bedrooms: 1 king-size (2 x 2m bed), 1 twin (80cm wide) with low hanging space and door to terrace, mezzanine bedroom with 2 single beds (one pulls out from under the other); bathroom (bath/shower over, basin, WC). Separate exterior entrance to: Ground Floor: room with futon (135cm wide); shower room (shower, basin, WC); mezzanine double bedroom (via narrow, open-tread spiral staircase, low ceiling). Private pool (6 x 5m; 1.3 - 2.2m deep). Terrace, courtyard and patio. Covered parking. Built-in barbecue. Satellite TV/DVD. Stereo. Heating. Microwave. Washing machine. Dishwasher. Cot. Highchair. Arrival pack. Basement: Billiards Room, and hall with sofa bed for two people.
