CASABLANCA-THE VILLA

Relax in the luxury of this bright and spacious contemporary villa situated in the quiet established residential area of Buenavista in Cullera and enjoy its stunning views over rice fields to the Mediterranean Sea and north to Valencia. The Casablanca is located on a hillside overlooking the Albufera National Park, a bird watchers paradise, and only minutes away from the unspoiled and protected sand dune El Dosel beach popular with wind/kite surfers. The Casablanca centres on a large open plan double height living room wrapped on two sides by windows that let the natural light into the heart of the house creating a seamless outdoor/indoor environment between the living room and the large wood decked terrace centred on the pool. An adjoining dining area and open plan kitchen tempts one never to leave the poolside, day or night. The surrounding pine trees lend the house a sense of privacy, seclusion and exclusivity.
The house can comfortably sleep six with accommodation split over the master bedroom with ensuite bathroom and 2 twin bedrooms that share a bathroom. All bedrooms have fitted wardrobes. There is a laundry room with washing machine.
Facilities include: TV, DVD, CD MP3 player, underfloor heating, air conditioning, ADSL wireless internet connection (Wi-Fi), dishwasher, fitted kitchen, microwave, washing machine, outdoor swimming pool, garden furniture,sunbeds.
The Bonavista Urbanisation where the house is situated is a cooperative owned by the Association of Owners. The Cooperative House in the centre of the Urbanisation has maintained gardens, a football/basketball pitch and a tennis/padel court. The Urbanisation provides night-time security.

Natural sand dune beaches – 2km. The sand dune beaches are protected by the state, and remain one of the few undeveloped coastlines on the Spanish Mediterranean coast.

Railway station – 1.25km. Air-conditioned trains from Gandia to Valencia every 20 minutes.
Town centre – 2.5km. The old town centre has a lively fruit, vegetable and meat market. Market day is Thursday.
Town beaches – 3.5km.
Cullera is a small town with a year round population of 20,000 inhabitants. Know as a beach resort for tourists from Madrid and France. Centred around the Mountain d’Oro, it boasts some of the finest beaches in Spain. The town has a small fishing port with auction house and marina. The river Jucar flows through Cullera and the wetlands are to the south of the town. Cullera is famous for having the sea, mountain, lake and river all within it’s boundary. Try the excellent fish restaurants opposite the fisherman’s auction house and taste delicacies not available in Madrid, Paris or London.

Monastery of Jeronimos in La Murta mountains – 11km – recommended for walking, the peaks of La Murta are about a 3-4 hour hike up marked footpaths
Monastery of Valldigna in Simat – 15km
Gandia – 25km – good for shopping
El Saler golf course – 15km – one of the best golf courses in Europe.
Albufera wetlands – 17km – hire one of the few local fishermen to take you out on the lake for a night time cruise and dinner.
Valencia – 29km – wander through the exotic Barrio del Carmen
Valencia airport – 35km
Requenna / Utiel wine region - 80km – visit one of the excellent bodegas for wine tasting.
Madrid - Now only 1hr 38min away from Valencia by new Ave speed trains making it ideal for day trips and sightseeing.
Have brakfast in Valencia and just in time for lunch in Madrid.

Cycling, diving, fishing, golf, mountaineering, hiking, sailing, surfing, tennis, walking, wind/kite surfing.

The Valencia region is famous for its festivals including the Fallas festival in March and the Tomatina festival in the town of Bunol. Also there is the Formula 1 Grand Prix that takes place in Valencia and of course Americas Cup. During the summer seldom a week passes without the sight of fireworks celebrations being visible from the balcony of the Casablanca, and sometimes on a weekend several displays can be seen in a single night.

Refundable security deposit of 500 Euros cash payable on arrival and refunded on departure after an inventory check of the villa for brakages/loss of keys and extra cleaning costs but in case of early departure the deposit will be returned by a Bank Transfer.

No pets without prior request.
