OUR APARTMENT - POOLS - TENNIS

Our apartment sleeps 2 with one bedroom (two single beds) Its fully furnished in a classic Andalusian style, with a modern and fully equiped galley kitchen and a huge sunny terrace overlooking the the Mediterranean. Free WiFi in the apartment.

The apartment is set in really beautifully landscaped gardens in the exclusive El Capistrano Village - the original and (we still think) the best holiday development in town. There are two (!) beautiful outdoor pools with sunloungers and a cafe to get a cold drink. The larger pool is a little busier and has a really friendly restaurant. The tennis club has one court and provides lessons.

The apartment is strictly non-smoking.


NERJA + BEACHES


Nerja town centre is just fifteen minutes walk away - and has has something for everyone. With over ten miles of white sand beaches and warm sparkling water, if you’re looking for a beach holiday you won’t be disappointed. Nerja is the jewel is the Costa del Sol - we’ve been visiting this lovely town for over twenty years - with its narrow winding streets, choice of beaches and rocky coves and a stunning backdrop of stunning mountains. And we keep coming back!

There are numerous restaurants and cafes serving traditional Andalusian cuisine as well as wide range of international food. Youll also find banks, supermarkets, an English bookshop, great clothes shopping and a few nightclubs and bars for the nocturnal.


SURROUNDING COUNTRYSIDE - MOUNTAINS - HIKING - SKIING - CAVES - BEACHES - GRANADA - FRIGLIANA - MARO - GOLF


Nerja is set between the beach and the mountains, with the Sierra Almjara mountains providing a picturesque backdrop to the town. Fifteen minutes drive will take you up into stunning unspoint mountainous countryside, where the opportunities for hiking are limitless. In the winter months, you can reach the ski resorts of Cordillera Penebetica in only 90 minutes by car. There are two golf courses just out of town.

The stunning Nerja Caves, miles of unspoilt secluded beaches , the charming hilltop town of Frigliana and historic Maro are all within ten miles. The thousand year old Alhambra Palace in Granada - considered by some to be the eighth wonder of the world - is only an hour and a half’s drive away.


HOW TO GET THERE - PARKING - PUBLIC TRANSPORT


Nerja is 50km east of Malaga along the coast road N340 and the journey from the airport to the apartment usually takes about 40 minutes. A regular bus service runs from Malaga bus station (next to the train station) and will drop you off at the taxi rank in Nerja, five minutes walk or a 5 euro taxi fare to the apartment.
