Villa Carlotta is a large roomy traditional Spanish Villa set in spectacular coutryside with views to the mountains. The villa is suitable for large families or two families sharing as there are bathrooms on both floors. Our swimming pool (4x8metres) is private and affords awesome views. Sunbeds and chairs are available. We have a traditional paellera (Spanish barbeque) with a selection of paella pans in all sizes. The large roomy lounge has windows to 3 sides and an open plan wrought iron staircase. There is a 39inch flat screen panasonic TV. The kitchen is Spanish style with double marble sinks, dishwasher,microwave and five burner gas range. There is a double bedroom, twin bedroom and bathroom on the ground floor and two double bedrooms and a twin bedroom and bathroom on the first floor.Parking is available for 3/4 cars. Villa Carlotta is in a quiet rural retreat but with all amenities a short drive away. The beaches of Valencia being 45 minutes drive south and the vineyards of Requena and Utiel 45 minutes to the North make the villa well placed for sightseeing.

Nearest towns
Bunol
The nearest town is Bunol (3km) where you can visit Vente Pillar restaurent, an old coaching house famous for its paella which you can watch being cooked. An outdoor auditorium provides many music festivals in the summer as Bunol is a musical town with most children learning to play an instrument. Visit the market every Friday where you will see an abundance of the tomatoes which have made this town famous through its annual tomatoe throwing festival "La Tomatina"held the last week in August. Supermarket, cinema, theatre and Accident and Emergency Unit here.

Turis
Pretty town with lots of bars and tapas available. Large supermarket and street markets.


Things to do
Plan a visit through the wine route to Requena where you can visit underground caves where the wine used to be stored- sampling along the way of course. Have a beach day and go to El Saler which is situated in a nature reserve- or play golf at El Bosque about 20 mins shop till you drop at Bonaire the largest shopping complex in Europe. You can always recover in the peace and tranquility of the Villa. Visit for special events like the Fallas Festival in March, La Tomatina in August,Formula One car racing, Motor Bike racing at Cheste in October as well as many local festivals and bull runs throughout the summer. Villa Carlotta is ideally placed to enjoy traditional Spanish living. We are well located for touring the region and there are some spectacular mountain routes. There are lots of lovely walks to explore from the Villa -or maybe you just want to laze by our sunny pool and relax enjoying the peace and tranquility. We are happy to answer any questions you might like to ask.


Golf Course near
El Saler voted the 2nd best golf course in Europe by Golf World, is located 45 minutes from Villa Carlotta and 20 km from Valencia amongst the pine forests of the Albufera National Park. Designed by Javier Arana, this 18-hole, 72 par course has held a number of Spanish Opens and is ranked No.29 in the world. Open all year this course has a handicap restriction of 36. Golf classes are available in English, French and Spanish and there is also a driving range (40 bays), a putting green, two chipping areas and two practice bunkers. Escorpión Club de golf iin Betera is a fantastice golf course with 27 holes. Three courses of 9 holes each make up this beautiful 27-hole course. It is located in a rough and hilly area where you have a range of different tree species found, including orange, olive and pine trees. In the background is the Sierra Calderona. El Bosque is a classic layout that remains one of Spain’s most celebrated golf courses. The pine-ridden landscape north of Chiva is the basis for El Bosque, which is a test of golfing strategy and skill.
The El Bosque Golf Club is located just 20 minutes from Villa Carlotta.

Joel:- We have never had a Villa in Spain before and thought they would be plastic! yours was really authentic , we loved the Paellera and made our own paella there, we loved the pool too, we planned to do so much but it was soooo relaxing we stayed by the pool most days.
