ELVIRIA - Los Lagos de Santa Maria - Front line Golf

This wonderfully comfortable three double bedroom apartment is only forty five minutes from Malaga Airport, fifteen minutes from Marbella, five minutes from the best beach in the Marbella area and is right in the heart of the best golfing region in Spain. With countless good restaurants nearby and plenty of attractions within easy reach this apartment is ideal for family holidays and golfing escapes.

The apartment

This is a beautifully equipped and very spacious three bedroom, two bathroom apartment in the frontline of the Los Lagos de Santa Maria development which was named �Best Spanish Development 2004� by Home Overseas. It overlooks the Santa Maria Golf course and has stunning panoramic views to both the mountains and sea.

This family-owned apartment is decorated to the highest standards with cream marble floors throughout. The spacious sitting room is well equipped with a large TV, DVD player, CD player and an internal dining table seating six. There is also a SKY TV box so the main English TV channels can be watched.

Sliding glass patio doors lead out onto the large terrace where a further outdoor dining table and chairs are located. The terrace faces West making it possible to enjoy dinners in the sunshine long into the evening. There are also two sun loungers on the terrace.

The fully equipped kitchen has granite worktops, dishwasher, washing machine, tumble dryer, microwave, fridge-freezer, iron, ironing board, electric cooker and oven. There is a door from the kitchen onto the terrace.

The master bedroom is ensuite. It also has its own separate door onto the terrace. The other two bedrooms both contain twin beds and all rooms have built-in lined wardrobes. Sheets, towels and bedding are provided.

There are two travertine marble decorated bathrooms both equipped with baths with shower attachments and bidets. Each bathroom has two washbasins with mixer taps. There is an additional loo and washbasin.

The air-conditioning system is easy to use and can either cool or heat all the rooms throughout the apartment as required.

There is secure underground parking with a lift leading up to the apartment.

The apartment is all on one level and the terrace is enclosed making it a very baby and child friendly environment. Plus it is also equipped with two travel cots and a high chair for no extra charge. Many appartments charge extra for to hire these.

Swimming pool

There is a beautiful large communal swimming pool located within 30 metres of the apartment. It is set in a lawned garden and has sensational elevated views out to the sea and the golf course. There is also a smaller children�s pool and changing rooms / loos located conveniently. Sun loungers are laid out around the pool area.

Golf

The Costa del Sol is a golfer�s paradise. The apartment overlooks Santa Maria Golf but there are many further top quality courses within a short drive including: Cabopino Golf, Rio Real Golf, Marbella Golf, Greenlife Golf, El Soto Golf. Golf Valley is nearby including: La Quinta, Las Brisas, Los Noranjos, El Soto De Marbella Golf, and Artola Golf. In the area of Elviria itself, apart from Santa Maria, there is also a par 3 course, perfect for beginners with a two tier driving range and tennis courts.

This club has a well earned place amongst the most elite on the Costa Del Sol offering challenging golf in unparalleled surroundings. It affords views across the course to the Mediterranean, as well as inland to the mountains that lie to the North. The splendid 19th century clubhouse epitomises the charm and character of the club. While not long, the course is full of interest and considered one of the best along the coast, each hole has its own particular character. Many of the tees are elevated and on a fine day the views from the 10th and 16th holes are breathtaking.

There are also tennis courts located at the golf club for hire.

The beach

The long wide sandy beach at Elviria is considered the best in the Marbella area. There are several restaurants located alongside the beach which are excellent and cater for all budgets. The beach is a five minute drive from the apartment and there is ample free parking close to the beach.

Other attractions

Puerto Banus, the amazing port hosting some of the world's most expensive yachts, is only 25 minutes away. There are countless restaurants (Casa Pepe particularly recommended) and loads of bars and nightclubs not to mention extensive shopping.

Visit the oldest and arguably most beautiful bullring in Spain at Ronda with its fascinating museum and eat in the many excellent and inexpensive restaurants near the bridge over the famous 200m deep Tajo Gorge.

Cordoba with its gardens, and Granada with the famous Alhambra, are also within reach by fast smooth dual carriageway roads. Gibraltar is an easy drive down the coast.

The village of Elviria

The village is well equipped with one large supermarket and a smaller 24 hour convenience store which also sells UK/Irish newspapers.

There are plenty of bars and restaurants in the village itself, three beach restaurants and further top quality restaurants located nearby.

There are two superb huge shopping malls within 20 minutes.

A waterpark for children with amazing slides also within 20 minutes is a popular attraction. There is a fun aquarium with sharks, turtles, octopus and sting rays in Benalmadena which is a fun day out for younger children.

The Costa del Sol Hospital is only 10 minutes away in case of emergencies.
