Sleeps six. 3-bedroom mountainside villa with breathtaking views and private pool situated in the exclusive Cabrera village with 3 restaurants/bars, tennis and horse-riding. Golf course nearby. 10 minutes drive down mountain to Turre (cafes,shops,restaurants, internet etc) and 5 minutes more to the whitewashed village of Mojacar and its nearby glorious beaches. The stunning Cabo de Gata national park and its many secluded beaches is easily reached. Naturists beaches, large and small, also within easy driving distance

Open-plan dining area with large, elm table and antique leather chairs. French windows to breakfast balcony with dramatic views towards Sierra Nevadas and Granada. Two other rooms have Juliet balconies.

Bath and hand towels and linen included. The property is cleaned before arrival but for stays of longer than one week, separate arrangements have to be made and cleaning paid for locally. Beach towels are not included.

Excellent air-conditioning/heating in the three main bedrooms.
The villa is not suitable for very young children due to the mountainside balconies as it sits on top of a stunning but steep and high hillside. Ample parking. The villa sleeps six comfortably but more than 6 occupants would be inappropriate.

New, state-of-the-art, chlorine-free swimming pool, (anti-allergic), 8m x 4m, Roman-steps, mosaic tiles and shower. Private. Poolside loungers and chairs. Large, Moroccan-tiled dining table with sea views. Patios and balconies on 360 degrees to catch (or avoid) the sun in the warmest, and driest, part of mainland Europe.

Nine hole course at the foot of the mountain range, being upgraded to 18 hole.
Within 20 minutes drive are the lush 18 hole courses of Desert Springs, Valle de Este and Club Marina Golf.Granada and its extensive skiing areas is approximately two hour and a half hours drive away.

The wonderful Sierra Cabrera mountain range - with its wild boar and wide variety of birds - is a relaxing holiday area for walkers. Rambling walks can be started from the house itself.
The nearby Cabo de Gata has extensive cliff-top walks and secluded coves and beaches. Its famous salt-beds are a haven for birds.

The wide, sandy beaches of Mojacar, Vera and Garrucha are 15-20 minutes drive away. There is a famous, mile-long naturist beach at Vera Playa too, plus naturist coves along the coast.
Cabo de Gata, and its charming villages of Agua Amarga and San Jose, is 40 minutes away. There are many large beaches but also numerous isolated coves, all well under one hours drive away either down the M-way or along the staggeringly beautiful coastal route.

Murcia (1 hour 30 minutes).
Alicante (2 hours) Granada (Two and a half, three hours.

Turre is 10 minutes drive, Mojacar 15, Vera and Vera Playa (Beach), with its Aqua Park, are 20 minutes away. The mountain village of Nijar, famous for its colourful pottery and rugs, is 30 minutes away. Granada is 2 hours 30mins. The Tabernas desert - where countless movies have been filmed - and its two Wild West Theme Parks is under an hour away.

Cabrera Village has an excellent Italian restaurant/bar, a new pan-European restaurant and there is also a friendly tapas bar within 5 minutes walk of the villa (10 back uphill!) Horse-riding and tennis are also available. Turre has banks, multi-language cashpoints, a supermarket, butchers and a wide range of bars and restaurants. Mojacar is a fabulous Arab white village and the beaches of Mojacar and Vera have every facility of bustling resorts.

Deposit to secure booking 25%. Balance to be paid no later than 6 weeks prior to arrival date. £150 returnable deposit against damages also required.
Arrival time not before 5pm, check-out by 10 am on departure, unless mutually agreed in advance. (This can usually be varied, especially out of high season.) Guests must have their own insurance they can rely on in place, covering all eventualities, for every member of their party.

My wife and I (both London-based professionals)bought the villa approx. 6 years ago after falling in love with it at 1st sight. We have built a kidney-shaped, non-chlorine pool and installed new air-con in the bedrooms, plus other improvements.
