A feature of the property is the thickness of the walls, ensuring summer coolness and winter warmth.
There is a large lounge /dining room; and open plan luxury fitted kitchen.
Two downstairs bedrooms share an en-suite beautifully furnished bath and shower room.
Upstairs is another full bathroom and also an ironing area, leading to the third bedroom with huge floor to ceiling built in wardrobes.

A further door takes you to the roof terrace and sea views.

The kitchen provides a 2m tall frost free fridge freezer; washing machine ; dishwasher; ceramic hob and oven / rotisserie, with extractor fan and light above…..also microwave /mini oven / grill; through to juicer , toaster, kettle, coffee maker etc , and a breakfast bar area.

The lounge had english satellite tv as well as spanish tv, plus dvd, and mp3 hifi , with 2 large comfy sofas and coffee table ,whilst the dining area has a table and 6 chairs.

The house has 2 multi setting power showers, and full baths, wc‘s and bidets…..

3 comfortable double bedrooms and wardrobes.

But please do bring your own beach towels !

The property is 100 metres from the main plaza with its focal point bar and supermarket; but yet due to its location in a small cul de sac walkway, the house remains very tranquil at all times.

Gualchos has about 750 inhabitants, 4 bars and 3 restaurants; and due to its hillside position commands beautiful views of the sierra mountains above and the sea below. This sheltered location is what gives it its unique micro climate, ensuring year round sun and heat, with little rain, but occasionally a cooling breeze.

Only 4.6 kms below is the larger beach town of Castell de Ferro, full of shops , bars, cafes, and all necessary services , like banks, internet cafes, and garages…and a 7 day a week medical centre.
There are lots of beautiful beaches with safe swimming throughout the local coastline; and some are hotspots for snorkelling and scuba diving too. Beach bars and restaurants abound.

But if you fancy leaving the coast to explore inland, the beautiful Alpujarras mountains are a short hop in the car. There you will find some tiny; some larger villages and towns selling arts and craft wares like hand made rugs; at remarkably cheap prices ! The high settings of these villages are picturesque and breath taking.

For a cultural treat….a 70 minute motorway drive takes you to the stunning city of Granada; you simply must see the Alhambra Palace…..a ‘ jewel in the crown ‘ ! ( much further away the cities of Cordoba and Seville offer more major attractions )

But if it is just to enjoy a relaxing holiday more locally you will find everything you need here………be it in the house or village, the nearby castell, or the major motril city, just 15 minutes away. !

+ plus sur Andy Marshall Hi, I'm owner of Casa Los Pescadores ''. I used to live in the house for 2 years, so obviously I know Gualchos and the area well. So any informaton you need, just ask ! I only live about 1 hour away now, and loving the life in Spain, as it's much warmer, friendlier and drier than the UK !... sometimes it can feel like one long holiday :)
