Huerta Milan is a lovely privately owned villa with a private pool just 0.5km from the centre of the village of Ardales. The property has a large electronic gate with parking within, making the property extremely private and safe . There are 2 bedrooms- one double, one twin and there is a sofa bed in the lounge for an extra 2 guests. The kitchen has a full hob and microwave, fridge/freezer. The living area has SAT TV and a large dining area. A feature wood burning stove provides additional heating to the radiators in winter. In the heat of the summer the villa is kept cool with air-conditioning. The outdoor area boasts an inviting swimming pool with a little Wendy house at the far end, ideal for small children. The pool is gated for safety. There is an outdoor eating area, sun loungers, barbecue and wood burning oven. Ideally situated- 5 mins walk to the centre of the village of Ardales. Ardales is a picturesque, lively and friendly "pueblo blanco" which has a selection of good tapas bars and restaurants, banks, shops etc. The villa is also only 5 mins drive to the beautiful Andalucian lake district- an unspoilt nature park where you can swim in the turquoise lakes and hire pedalos and canoes. There are some excellent lakeside bars and restaurants which are well priced and definately worth a visit.
The area is famous for rock climbing, mountain-biking, bird watching and walking.

Roland and I fell in love with this wonderful part of Spain about 9 years ago and bought a holiday property for ourselves. We found ourselves returning more and more frequently and in 2005 we decided to take the plunge and moved here permanently and have since run a small holiday rental company specialising in this unspolit part of Spain-the Andalucian lake district- "the REAL Spain!"- only 45 mins from Malaga but a completely different world.
