Casa de la Luna is an exceptionally well presented and stylish villa occupying a stunning position commanding views of the Catalan countryside to the sea , the villa is South facing and enjoys all day sun. Located in a quiet residential area 1km from the historic village of Begur with its restaurants, cafés and shop and a five minute drive from the wonderful beach at Aiqua Blava, the villa was newly completed in 2006 to a very high standard and with every modern convenience. There is a local supermarket a 5-10 minute walk away where you can buy delicious fresh bread and other provisions.
Casa de La Luna is approached by a private drive with parking .

The Villa is on two levels:

The Upper level
has steps leading to the front door which opens into a large open plan living area with dining and sitting areas well equipped for ten people. The living space has Satellite TV, DVD and CD. as wel as A/C there is central heating and a wood burning stove for winter visitors. Sliding French windows lead to a wide terrace with BBQ for al fresco dining. The upper level has three bedrooms all with French Master bedroom has a 5ft doublebed and is en suite.There is further double bedroom (5 ft bed) leading to the pool its sun beds and umbrellas. The third bed room has twin beds . These two rooms share another bathroom.

The kitchen is well equiped with dishwasher, fridge-freezer, oven-hob, microwave,toaster, washing machine and tumble drier. There is also a cool box for those vital beach picnics!

The Lower level has two more twin bedded rooms and shower rooms (one en suite) The gardens are very attractive with a shady lawned top garden with BBQ and lighting for night time dining. . A Cot/High Chair /Beach Towels may be hired at a small extra cost.
The Gardens. These have been planted with care to form an attractive pool area with steps leading up to a pleasantly shaded top garden . This has another BBQ and can be lit up for night dining. The pool is 6 x 4 metres and is well equiped with sun beds and umbrellas

There is an WIFI internet connection at the villa via our spanish dongle. There is a 50 euro deposit for this returnable at the end of your stay villa has Sky TV including Sky sports. Casa de la Luna can be rented out of season as a 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom villa. Please ask for rates. Our neighbours also have a 5 bedrooom villa for rent so that you can organise quite a large house party if you wish! We can also provide Beach Towells/ Cot/Highchair at a small extra charge
ABOUT THE AREA
This part of the Costa Brava is a well kept secret. There are no tour operators , English pubs, souvenir shops or high rise hotels. Many villas are owned by Barcelonians Begur is a wonderful medieval town where you can wander through its streets enjoying the atmosphere or have a great meal at one of its restaurants. Within a few minutes drive are several beautiful coves and beaches including Aigua Blava, Tamariu, Sa Riera,Llfranc and Sa Tuna.. Tamariu is only a seven minute drive and is sitiated on a horseshoe of golden sand with waterfront restaurants to tempt you to a leisurely lunch.
Nearby Activities

This area is a Marine Conservation area.There is the opportunity to Scuba Dive at Aigua Blava .Water Park -20 minutes .There is also Kayaking and sailing at Sa Riera.
Scuba divers and snorkelers come from all over Spain to swim among the coral reefs of the Medes Islands You can reach them by taking a glass bottomed boat from nearby L’Estartit

Tennis and Horseriding
There are two tennis clubs locally, both welcome visitors. They are at Pals and Llfranc. The Llafrance club also has a large swimming pool.

Golf
Golf: Golf courses in this area are well known.There are three courses that form the Golden Triangle in the area of Pals including a new championship course built in 2000.
We can arrange for you to play and,out of the high season, organise transport to golf courses for can also organise in house catering in mid/low season.Please contact the owner if you are interested in this.
Walking
We are very keen walkers and spend a great deal of our time at Begur walking the coastal paths or travelling inland to the mountains to hike in the beautiful countryside. Walking routes are well way marked but we can give you any advice or information that you may need to plan a walking holiday. We would be quite happy to suggest walks/routes of varying difficulty in the local area.
Siteseeing
We know the area very well and are happy to suggest itineraries from the many wonderful places in the area according to your interests.

Girona is only 45 minutes away and is a stunning city to visit for the day.
