Set in vast private grounds and gardens, entered through electronic gates, this villa has been described by guests as “a self-contained theme park” and “the perfect family rental”.
The interior is comfortably furnished throughout. and sleeps up to 6 people in 3 bedrooms (2 double, one twin). It benefits from 2 bathrooms (one full, one en-suite)and hair dryers are provided.
There is a well-equipped kitchen with dishwasher, washing machine, microwave, full oven, hob, coffeee maker, juicer, kettle, toaster etc.
The lounge is comfortable and has SAT TV/DVD and a log fireplace for the cooler winter evenings.
We provide a good library of books for your use and a selection of board games.
All rooms have ceiling fans.
Immediately outside is a sun trap patio with a novelty chess/dining table with giant chess and draught pieces available and an attractive arched terrace with climbing bougainvillea. Further eating/sitting area here-a lovely spot to take breakfast enjoying the stunning mountain views.

A short path leads to yet another area for relaxation- a large patio, floodlit at night, sports a 10m private swimming pool, and table tennis table. There are 6 comfortable loungers with drinks tables, 2 dining areas, one under a pagoda, close to the large bbq and full hob for al fresco catering. Whilst waiting for the food to cook, you can enjoy a gin and tonic sitting at the poolside bar.-You are welcome to add a slice of lemon from the mature lemon tree nearby. The bar is complete with sink, fridge and pumps for draught beer and wine (Ordered on request.) A music system and selection of CD´s are available here. Beyond the table-tennis table, steps lead to a lawned area with badminton court and hammock. Table tennis and badminton equipment are provided. Beyond the badminton court there are further gardens to enjoy and another patio with table and chairs and boules pitch.
We also have a telescope for your use to watch for shooting stars in the normally clear skies.

The quaint village of Carratraca, with its luxury spa baths -open to the public and choice of bars and restaurants is only 1km away. (10-15 mins walk). There are local shops, a bank, chemist here and a map of the village is provided with details of the various bars and restaurants.
One restaurant owner will even provide a free taxi service for our guests so you can all enjoy a glass of wine without worrying about driving back.

A short drive- 10 minutes- takes you to the Andalucian lake district- a stunning area of natural beauty with excellent restaurants with views. Pedaloes and canoes can be hired out here.
There are some great walks and we have an experienced guide who will take a group out at a discounted rate of 50€ a half day (normally 40€ per person) and advise you about the area and local fauna.
A day trip to the beach takes only 45 minutes, with a choice of either the famous Costa del Sol resorts of Torremolinos and Benalmadena or traditional Spanish beaches with little tavernas on the beach serving fresh fish dishes, grilled sardines and paella. There is easy parking immediatley on the beach.
Marbella and Puerta Banus are only 1 hour away.
Granada, Seville and Ronda are also close by for a day out.

With off season rates being about 8€ per person per night, it makes an ideal base for climbing at El Chorro, or a base for fishing at the Ardales Parque lakes.

Roland and I fell in love with this wonderful part of Spain about 9 years ago and bought a holiday property for ourselves. We found ourselves returning more and more frequently and in 2005 we decided to take the plunge and moved here permanently and have since run a small holiday rental company specialising in this unspolit part of Spain-the Andalucian lake district- "the REAL Spain!"- only 45 mins from Malaga but a completely different world.
