The apartment has all the comforts of home, satelite TV, DVD player, CD Player, air conditioning, washing machine, fridge, freezer, microwave, cutlery, crockery, plenty of cooking utensils, hairdryer, straightners etc.

The complex is surrounded by lovely gardens and facilities that include, Gymnasium, Jacuzzi, 2 swimming pools, one of them heated and a children’s play area. Situated just 50 metres from the beach and located on the Mar Menor this is an ideal holiday location.

Mar Menor weather
Weather along the shores of the Mar Menor is mild, making it ideal for holidays in both the summer and winter. The area is sheltered by hills and high mountains making this a kind of micro climate. This limits rainfall, and as a result the region enjoys sunshine for in excess of 320 days per year. The sun it hottest during July and August, with temperatures rarely falling below 30 degrees. The typically mild winters boast averages of 17 degrees. Mar Menor area is famous for its salt lakes, which has a major effect on humidity levels, as a result the air is dryer than other parts of Spain.

Ideal for families
The holiday complex has secure video link entrance, offers relaxation areas with palm trees in a landscaped garden, open air swimming pool from May to September, heated indoor pool from October to May. The indoor pool has a jacuzzi and sauna. There is a gymnasium and play area for children. The apartment is in easy walking distance to local supermarket, green grocer, general store, bars and restaurants. The beach has bar which is open for most of the year and about 300m to the south there is La Manga Camping which has a beach bar that is open all year round. There is a Go Karting track about 1.5km away and there are tennis and basketball courts locally at the edge of the village.

Locally
There are large supermarkets within a 5 minute drive at Cabo de Palos. Los Belones Village is a short drive away and offers shops, bars and good international restaurants to suit every pocket. Cabo de Palos, about 4km away, is a fishing village which becomes a place for nightlife into the small hours and the chinese restaurant is a must do! There is a market on Sundays selling everything from local produce to flea market items. The local bus between Catagena and La Manga stops regularly at the edge of the village on the service road, the main bus station is about 2km onto La Manga strip providing service to the rest of Spain. The nearest train station is in Los Nietos about 6km way.

Car Hire
Hiring a car is the most convenient way to travel during your stay and it is relatively inexpensive, however, some of our guests have not hired a car but used the local taxi service.

Verdemar III Playa Honda is situated on the calm waters of the Mar Menor and only 5 minutes drive from La Manga Strip. Only 5 minutes away by car there is a Go-Karting track, Horse Riding Stables and La Manga Golf Club. Within walking distance there are English and Spanish Restaurants and Bars a Supermarket and a Pharmacist. A short walk along the beach is Camping and Caravanning La Manga where you are also able to use their restaurant and bar facilities


Located on the 1st floor, there are lifts and stair access which serves 2 apartments per floor. It sleeps 6 people comprising of 2 bedrooms, lounge/diner, bathroom, fitted kitchen and a good size terrace which overlooks the oriental themed swimming pools, relaxation areas and the Mar Menor.

The lounge/dining room is open plan, comfortably furnished including a double sofa bed, dining table and chairs for 6 people. There is warm/cool air conditioning, video door entry system, TV/DVD/CD. Sliding doors open onto the terrace where there is wooden terrace furniture.

The main bedroom has a double bed, 2 bedside cabinets, 2 chest of drawers and a built in double wardrobe. This bedroom also has warm/cool air conditioning. The 2nd bedroom has a ceiling fan light, 2 single beds, a bedside cabinet, chest of drawers and a large built in wardrobe. The bathroom is fully tiled and has a WC, bidet, illuminated vanity unit, wash hand basin, bath and shower.

The kitchen in fully equipped with a ceramic hob, oven, extractor fan, microwave, fridge/freezer, washing machine, toaster and kettle. Cutlery and crockery is provided and there are ample cooking utensils. There is a galleria terrace situated off the kitchen with an outside sink.

The accommodation is spacious, floors are tiled throughout, it is well equipped and furnished to a high standard. All linen and towels, (not beach towels) are provided as standard and all services included with no extra charge. The apartment has a short hallway leading from the entrance to all rooms.

Water Sports
Fans of water sports will find this one of the best places in the world for practising sailing, canoeing, swimming and every other water sport activity in the numerous clubs and sailing schools situated around the Mar Menor.

Las Manga Strip
The strip is about 18.5 kilometres long and its between the Mediterranean and the Mar Menor. There are many beaches either side of the La Manga strip which divides the two seas. The Mar Menor is safer for bathing, it is shallow with temperatures generally higher than the Mediterranean but both coastlines offer excellent bathing opportunities. Beaches include Playa Honda, Playa Paraiso, Playa Cavanna, Playa Chica and Playa de Veneciola on the Mar Menor, and Playa del Estacio, Playa el Arenal and Playa de Galua on the Mediterranean. Many of the beaches have sun loungers with umbrellas which are available for a small hire charge.

Calblanque
Located on the Mediterranean mainland side, Calblanque is a National Park Nature Reserve where there ae secluded sandy beaches, rocky bays and salt lakes. There are very few amenities, but it is the perfect place for nature lovers, walkers, cyclists.

Mar de Cristal
Mar de Cristal in on the inward shore of the Mar Menor it is the next beach to Playa Honda where there is a good variety of water sports available. It is a short drive or a walk around the headland to the north, (left) from VerdeMar III, where there are snack bars and restaurants along its length.

Our apartment is availbale for rental throughout the year and prices are based on renting the apartment for 7 nights although other periods can be accepted. Should your dates cover differing pricing periods please contact us with your enquiry and we will gladly arrange a suitable cost.

Notes spéciales
A £100 non refundable deposit secures your booking. Balance is required 6 weeks prior to departure. Payment methods accepted are paypal, bank transfer or cheque.
Towels are only provided for personal use, not for use around the pool area. A refundable deposit of £100 is held and returned 2 weeks after your return, assuming all is well and the keys have been returned. Should the balance not be received by the due date, we reserve the right to cancel the booking in writing and make the dates available to let. Access to the apartment is usually from 16.00hrs on your day of arrival and should be vacated by 10.00am on your day of departure. These times are to allow for the apartment to be prepared for the next guests. Saturday to Saturday bookings only during the peak season. Transfers to and from Murcia airport can also be provided if you so wish, this costs approximately 80 euros ( 40 euros each way) for a family of 4, an exact cost can be confirmed with booking.

Although you are unlikely to encounter problems on your trip, we strongly advise you to carry form E111 with you and take out any necessary travel insurance.

Smoking is not permitted inside the apartment and is only permitted on the terrace.

If you have any special requests please advise us at the time of the booking.
