Villa Juanita is close to beaches, unspoilt coastline, salt lakes, the fishing villages of San Pedro and Pilar de la Horadada and in walking distance of the main shopping areas of Campoverde (10 minutes). This well-appointed, 4 bedroomed, detached villa has been beautifully restored and expanded to provide comfortable and secluded accommodation on two levels. With private swimming pool (3.5m wide and 7m long) and terrace areas, sea views and private gardens, you will love staying at Villa Juanita.

Set in a half-acre, palm-filled garden the villa contains an extensive open-plan living area, comprising a spacious American-style kitchen, a convenient dining area, a generous lounge with fire-place and views to the sea and a covered terrace leading to the swimming pool. In addition the lounge leads directly to a large, elevated sun terrace. The king-sized bedroom downstairs also opens directly onto the sun terrace and has views of the sea and sunrise. There is also a twin bedroom downstairs and a bathroom.

Upstairs are two spacious bedrooms (each with one double and one single bed) each with en-suite shower rooms. These bedrooms both open onto the large, upstairs sun terrace. The terrace and bedrooms have expansive views towards the sea. Please note that the upstairs is reached by external stairs.

Recommended Local Restaurants:

Rebate – Beautiful citrus finca providing fine Spanish dining with Argentinean influence. Dining al fresco among the orange blossom is a delight – our local favourite (10 mins)

Restaurante La Posada – Spend the afternoon on an authentic dining and cultural experience. Take your party and have an extended, traditional meal served in an idyllic courtyard in this beautiful, old, Spanish town. Book ahead on 968 68 00 06

Restaurante Budapest – Enjoy the full Hungarian treatment at this lively and charming restaurant with live Hungarian music and delicious food. Book ahead on 966 717 406

Mount Everest Restaurant – Authentic Nepali and Indian restaurant run a by a friendly Nepalese family just down the road in Pilar de la Horadada (5 mins)

Area Attractions:

Explore the whole Costa Blanca and Costa Calida from your centrally located villa.

Mar Menor (15 minutes) – Europe’s largest coastal salt water lagoon with calm warm water, sandy beaches, promenade and rejuvenating mud baths. The fabulous causeway walk is particularly spectacular leading up to sunset.

Calblanque regional park (40 mins) - miles of secluded beaches, panoramic views and great walking and horse riding on the dramatic coastal hills and beach.

Elche (Elx) Palm Gardens (45 minutes) boasts an impressive array of palm trees some over 300 years old. The Palmeral of Elche, which includes these gardens, is a UNESCO world heritage site. It spreads throughout the town, contains over 11,000 palm trees and is thought to have originally been planted by the Carthaginians in the 5th century BC.

Murcia (45 minutes) – Steeped in history with beautiful old buildings, narrow winding streets and a cathedral. Wonderful to walk around and soak up the lively atmosphere or sample the local tapas delicacies.

Alicante (1 hour) – Imposing fort, beautiful harbour and marina with many grand historical buildings and great shopping. Alicante is a cosmopolitan mix and has a regular ferry service to the Balearic Islands.

Sierra Espuña is a mountainous regional park and makes a great day trip providing stunning views, great hiking and a taste of the wild side of Spain. You will pass many interesting towns with strong Moorish influences that will leave you hungry for more of this inland area.

If you are charmed by the Moorish towns near Sierra Espuña then it is worth making the trip to Caravaca de la Cruz (1hr 45 mins). This town is centered around one of the most impressive forts in the area and the climb though the rambling, ancient streets is a wonder….enjoy!

Prices are for 4 bedrooms sleeping 10 in total. Reduce the price by €65 each week for each bedroom (sleeping 3 each) each with ensuite shower room, which is not needed.

Charge per stay (for towels and bed linen laundry) will be reduced by €20-50 for parties needing only 1-3 bedrooms.

Multi-lingual company will greet you and can provide a welcome pack of grocery shopping (separate cost) and help with anything else you may need.

Check in time 4pm. CHECK OUT 10am - You MUST vacate by 10 am!
