A new luxury air-conditioned apartment which can sleep 6, with a fully equipped kitchen, bathroom, 2 bedrooms both with built-in wardrobes. The property has a spacious lounge with dining area and doors leading to a separate terrace with table and chairs to allow outdoor eating on the warm summer evenings. The private communal pool is situated in the centre of the complex.

The apartment is only 20 minutes away from the airport of Murcia (San Javier) and served by Ryanair. Alicante is about 90 minutes away and served by easyJet.

The Mar Menor is only a 10-minute walk from the apartment. It is a large salt water lagoon that has warm shallow water which is ideal for all water sports, as well as the family. The calm, mineral rich water of the Mar Menor is the perfect place for therapeutic treatment for skin and arthritic complaints. The area around the Mar Menor is relatively flat and is good for walking or cycling and has numerous villages along the coastline.

From the apartment, a 10- to 15-minute walk brings you to the lovely picturesque village of Los Belones, which has national and international restaurants at very reasonable prices.

La Manga Club is approximately 5 minutes by car and this offers championship golf courses, tennis courts, horse riding, spa facilities and also a good selection of bars and restaurants. During the main school holidays, the Club offer academies for children who play tennis, football and rugby.

The La Manga Strip which lies 2km from Mar de Cristal has grown to become one of the most important and interesting resorts on the Mediterranean coast. Built on a narrow strip of land approximately 22km long, which encloses the Mar Menor to the west and separates it from the Mediterranean to the east, boasts over 44km of
Blue Flag’ beaches. It offers an abundance of restaurants, bars, shopping complexes and nightlife to meet the demands of residents and holidaymakers alike.

Cabo de Palos located on the outskirts of La Manga is a quaint fishing village where you can sample exquisite seafood in the many traditional restaurants along the harbour front or visit the local market every Sunday morning. Drive through the village and take a look around the bays below the lighthouse that towers over the peninsula of La Manga. Cabo de Palos also has a number of supermarkets and a visit to the Chinese restaurant makes an unforgettable end to the day. On the way back why not try having a few laps at the go-kart track.

Cartagena is a mere 20-minute drive. It is a fascinating seaport and the regions second largest city with charm and character stretching back over 3,000 years. It also offers modern fashion and jewellery shops, traditional tapas bars and restaurants. The best view of the port is from Parque Torre; in the distance are the lighthouses and traces of old fortifications that defended the entrance to the port for centuries. Further evidence of the ancient defences can be seen near Portman where the ‘Portman Guns’ originally built in the UK but now disused, aim harmlessly out to sea.

This region of Spain is situated on the Costa Calida, on the south east coast and is the driest region of Spain, enjoying an average 320 days of sunshine each year. It is therefore ideal for a winter break as well as summer holidays.
