Finca del Cielo is a lovely old farmhouse restored and divided into two cottages - one of which is available to rent - to include the comforts of modern day living. Situated at the top of a winding track it enjoys stunning panoramic views over and around the embalse of Iznajar. Set on the edge of the Sierra Subetica, it is an ideal location for those seeking peace and tranquility and as a base from which to discover the many delights of Andalucia. So, parties of up to 4 guests wishing to rent the cottage will enjoy their own private swimming pool together with two further south facing terraces. The cottage itself has two bedrooms, a shower room with toilet and wash hand basin, a kitchen and a lounge/dining area. Comfortable and well arranged, Finca del Cielo is 6 minutes drive from the small hillside town of Iznajar and has good access to the major highway networks.

Inside
The master bedroom, which overlooks the swimming pool, has a large double bed. The second bedroom has twin beds (can be converted to a double). Each bedroom is simply but comfortably furnished with a wardrobe, a chest of drawers and bedside table lamps. (During the colder months electric blankets are provided for all beds.)

The main entrance opens into the kitchen equipped with a fridge freezer, a 4-ring gas hob and a microwave oven/grill. The kitchen also has a wood burning stove for use in the winter months which heats the whole cottage (logs provided). The main entrance leads out to the pool and poolside terrace, while a second door off the kitchen leads out to two further private south facing terraces; an upper breakfast terrace with covered portico and a sun terrace overlooking the garden.

The lounge/dining room is comfortably furnished with 2 sofas, a satellite TV, a DVD player and a portable CD player. Although most of our guests tend to dine on the outside terraces during their stay, the lounge also contains a dining table with seating for 4.

Room fans (standalone and table) are provided throughout the cottage. Holiday reading books, board and card games are also provided for your use during your stay.



Outside
The 9m by 4m pool with its terrace, 6 pool loungers and shaded dining area, is exclusively for guests´ use. The shallow end is a depth of 80cm progressively increasing to a depth of 2 meters in the deep end.

In addition there are 2 further terraces; a south facing sun terrace overlooking the garden and offering fabulous views towards the village of Iznajar and its castle, and an upper breakfast terrace with covered portico.

And for anybody who enjoys barbeques, we provide you with a large gas barbeque together with gas bottle.

There is a car parking area behind the farmhouse with ample parking for cars.

Minimum stay June 30 to September 29 is one week. (Additional days charged at pro-rata rate.)
Check in after 4.30 pm on day of arrival, check out by 10.30 am on day of departure. Arrival/departure dates flexible.

We require a 200€ downpayment for booking confirmation. Balance to be paid 28 days in advance of scheduled arrival. In addition a refundable 200€ security deposit is required, payable upon arrival and returned, subject to cottage inspection, on date of departure.

Finca del Cielo is closed for bookings from 30/10/2011 to 07/01/20122.
