Location
This is a special place. Total privacy yet so close to many facilities. A place where you can choose to relax or join in the fun. (Alicante 30 mins, Benidorm 45 mins.)

This Country Villa is just 6 years old, it is very spacious and has its own private pool. It is situated just 2km outside the old town of Castalla with its medieval castle that dominates the surrounding valley. The villa stands in a 5 acre plot with marvellous views over olive, almond groves and grape vines out to the Cati, Maigmo and Penya Roja mountains.

Castalla boasts a number of good restaurants and bars, a couple of discos and supermarkets, as well as numerous smaller shops. There is also a lively market every Saturday and Tuesday. It is within easy driving distance of national parks and a number of waymarked walking trails in and around the mountains. The airport and Alicante town with its sandy beaches and wide variety of shops are just 30-40 minute drive away. For Golf lovers we also have a lovely golf course which is less than a 30 minute drive away.(Please contact the owners for more details and they will be happy to give you a hole by hole account!!!!!!!!)

What’s Included in the Price?
•Prices quoted are for the villa per week, NOT per person.
•Seasons refer to the time you are in the property, not your departure date. If your stay overlaps seasons, you will be charged pro rata for each season.
•Bed linen, house and kitchen towels are included.
•Water and electricity are both metered, and normal usage is included in the price. Gas for cooking. If the gas runs out, you are expected to replace it (a bottle costs about €12)
•Logs for the wood-burning stove during low season
Wi FI Internet connection
What’s NOT Included in the Price?
•Beach towels (youll need to bring your own)

Changeover Day
Changeover day is normally Saturday.

All on one level the Villa is built to a high specification and insulation properties are good, making it a relatively cool house in the summer and warm in the winter. The house comprises of:
3 double bedrooms-2 king-size (one with ensuite bathroom and shower) and one with 2 singles.
3 Bathrooms two with shower, sink, WC. The other with spa bath, bidet, WC and sink. Ample hot water from the solar system.
Large comfortable lounge with white leather sofas, 32" flatscreen and English programs i.e.BBC1/ITV. Also for the children and dads, there is a PS2 with lots of games (not all suitable for youngones and non for under 7)
New this year is a wifi internet access. Please contact the owner for more information.
Seperate dining room.
Kitchen with Dual electric and gas hob, microwave, washing machine, dish washer, fridge freezer.
Outside Kitchen with a gas range cooker.
Private swimming pool with ample terracing on all sides.
Outside Shower.
Huge Double garage, which also is used for a games room. Table tennis and electronic darts only at the moment.
Large barbeque.
Large covered terrace again with fatastic views.
For your security the area around the villa is fenced in with electric gates at the main entrance. The house and garage is also fitted with a burglar alarm.

Please note that pets are not allowed, and that for the comfort of all guests SMOKING IS NOT PERMITTED INSIDE THE HOUSE.

About Castalla
Castalla is in Alicante province, one of three provinces that make up the semi-autonomous region of Valencia. Its a 30 minute drive from Alicante airport and the Costa Blanca.

Castalla is a small market town of some 8,000 inhabitants. It lies in a wide T-shaped valley facing south east and is surrounded by the interlocking sierras of L’Arguenya, Maigmó and Catí. The steep streets, small squares, and narrow alleyways give it the character of a typical Spanish village.

Castalla has always been traditionally an agricultural region, specialising in olives, vines and almonds, which occupy 86% of the total cultivated area. Local wine and olive oil can be bought in the local co-operative.

Nowadays Castalla’s population is active in industry (toy manufacture, furniture, construction materials and metal work) and tourism. Local bars and restaurants are renowned for their quality and good service and attract large numbers of visitors.

Language
Most of the locals speak valenciano (a dialect that has its roots in catalan) as their first language, but they all speak castellano (Spanish) as well. Few people speak English, so youll find it useful to bring a basic phrase book with you. But dont let that put you off - the locals are very friendly, and sign language goes a long way!
