This 2 bedroom apartment is situated approximately 8kms north of El Campello and is a 30 minute taxi ride from Alicante airport. Part of a brand new apartment block, it is located on the fourth (top) floor overlooking the communal pool and gardens with fantastic southeast views over the glorious bay and intimate beach.

The apartment is fully air conditioned and comprises two bedrooms (one double, one twin), a lounge/dining room (complete with satellite TV, DVD and CD music system), bathroom, fitted kitchen and large private roof terrace – ideal for sunbathing and al fresco dining.

El Campello, known as the heart of the white coast of Spain, is located on the Costa Blanca between the beautiful historic city of Alicante (19kms south) and the well-known holiday resort of Benidorm (30kms north).
Originally just a small fishing village situated between the mountains and 23kms of white sandy beaches and coves, it is now an important seaside holiday town. The Paseo del Mar promenade is almost 3kms long and it is lined with a huge choice of authentic Spanish restaurants and bars, all servings delicious tapas. The El Campello marina and port sit at one end of the bay, offering a lively fish market and a selection of restaurants and cafes. The surrounding countryside and mountains are spectacular and with in half an hour’s ride from the coast. The scenery is beautiful and dotted with fascinating mountain villages while the views from the mountains rival those from anywhere else in Spain. It is said you can see as far as Ibiza on a clear day!

Local Facilities
The coast provides ideal conditions for water sports including windsurfing, waterskiing, sailing and scuba diving. The area has over 20 prestigious laid out golf courses (as well as some smaller ones), most of which have trolleys and buggies for hire as well as a full range of services such as practice ranges, pro shops and club houses. Walkers and cyclists will enjoy the many challenges the hills behind the coast have to offer and there are opportunities for horse riding, tennis etc.

Terra Mitica, which is open all year round, is a spectacularly large theme park near Benidorm which in the summer of 2000. Visitors can enjoy rides, shows and theatre events including the largest wooden rollercoaster in Europe and there are themed shops, bars and restaurants

Local Travel
You can take a number 21 bus to El Campello from the centre of Alicante (opposite the large department store – El Corte Ingles). The journey will take about 20 minutes. If you are going to El Campellos shopping centre or the old village, stay on the bus until it has crossed the dry river and for a few stops more. The bus will terminate in the old part of Campello.
There is a mainline railway between Madrid and Alicante but take a more leisurely amble up the coast line on the scenic Costa Blanca Express between Alicante and Denia (via Benidorm) for great views and glimpses of the local village life. This can be boarded at Venta Lanuza, 300km from the apartment. In addition,in the summer, there is an hourly bus service to El Campello, which picks up and drops off immediately outside the apartment gates.
There is a tourist information office on El Campello railway station.

Climate
The Costa Blanca enjoys 320 days of sunshine in a year. Temperatures in July and august can reach 33 degrees C but its dry heat is quite enjoyable if you are by the sea or pool with a cool drink! Even in the coldest months, December to February, the average daily temperature is 16 degrees.

Payment
A 50 euros per person deposit is required on booking, with the balance due four weeks before departure, together with a 100 euros good housekeeping bond, to be returned on departure, subject to no damage or breakages. Payment by cheque or banker’s draft (payee: B Glover). On payment of the balance, the apartment address and directions will be provided. A payment of 50 euros is also required for cleaning/laundry which will be collected with the balance, together with a 15 euros 'meet and greet' fee. Our cleaner Suzie will meet you at the apartment on your arrival to hand over the keys, and show you around the apartment.
Please note. We are able to offer a taxi service to collect you from, and return you to the airport. If your incoming flight is at an unsociable hour, we will gladly purchase some basic provisions for you,and place them in the apartment for you, ready for your arrival.
