Notes spéciales
Sant Antoni de Calonge is located in the heart of the Costa Brava in the magnificent bay of Sant Antoni and Palamos. Costa Brava (wild coast) is one of the most attractive parts of the Spanish coastline, with rocky coves alternating with long, sandy beaches. This area boasts many four- and five-star blue flag bathing beaches, as well as some of the most picturesque seaside resorts you’ll see anywhere in the Mediterranean. The kids will adore our acres of golden sand and safe swimming (with lifeguards permanently on hand, during summer). The council organises free activities for the kids in summer.
Sant Antoni de Calonge is situated midway between the thriving fishing port of Palamós, with its daily fish market and the sophisticated shopping, nightlife centre of Platja dAro. The nearest beach to the property is 40 metres away and a large supermarket for all your everyday needs is 100 metres away. Within minutes walk of the house you will find bars and restaurants to relax in and sample the locally caught fish and typical Catalan cuisine. The local bus service and taxis are also only a short walk from the property.
Sporting opportunities: In the surrounding area there is a wide range of sporting opportunities like tennis, diving, sailing, surfing, water skiing, wind surfing, horse riding, bicycle excursions along former railway tracks from the coast to Girona and onto Olot at the foot hills of the Pyrenees. Walking along the narrow coastal paths which flank the coastline between the rocks and pine trees. You can even try your hand at a spot of sea fishing. Golfers can choose between many carefully designed courses. Players can choose the level of difficulty from the facilities with varying landscapes.
