Apartment La Mariposa – sleeps 2 to 3 persons (4 with young children).
It is all year available, also long term.

The apartment has recently been renovated as part of the old town or ‘Casco Antiguo’ of Vejer de la Frontera and can easily be reached by car. Access is from the top or from the bottom of a flight of stairs; cars can be parked near the bottom of the staircase. The secluded terrace, with a shade giving palm tree, offers superb views on the fertile plains of Barbate river, the surrounding hills and the Sierras of the Parque Natural de los Alcornocales.

All rates are inclusive (per week for maximal 3 persons + small child), including: water, electricity, bed linen, towels and cleaning at the end of your stay.
(40% deposit with booking. Balance to be paid 4 weeks before arrival)

Minimal renting period is seven days.
Change over day is usually on Saturdays, arrival after 1600 – 1700 hrs, departure before 1000 hrs.
Other arrival/departure days can be arranged on condition that this is not interfering with other bookings.

Vejer de la Frontera, classified as a world heritage monument, is one of the famous white villages or “pueblos blancos” of Andalusia where the past is still present at every step in its winding streets.
The apartment is around the corner of the enchanting Plaza de España, the centre of town with small bars and lovely terraces, restaurants and shops. Walking through town will entice you to explore more of the labyrinth of staircases and narrow streets, lined with blinding white houses with their typical thick walls and barred windows and colourful patios, decorated with bright red geraniums.


The province of Cádiz is rich in Natural Parks and archaeological sites.
The long and unspoilt sandy beaches on the Atlantic coast are within a ten minutes drive. The surrounding rural area offers a variety of opportunities for hiking, mountain biking, horse riding, hang gliding, wind /kite surfing, golf and bird watching. Nearby are historic cities like Cádiz, Jerez de la Frontera and Sevilla. A two day trip gives you the opportunity to visit Granada with the famous Alhambra or the magnificent city of Cordoba.
