Now in its 5th year on the Spain-holiday website, this exceptional villa is popular with families and groups and has many repeat guests. Situated in a valley in the hills behind the Costa del Sol, half an hour from Marbella and a wide choice of beaches and from Malaga airport, it commands delightful views of the surrounding hills.

Casa Los Mosaicos has a distinctive part modern, part rustic style with a double height lounge and five bedrooms, two doubles and three twin, all with ensuite facilities. It is stylishly furnished to a very high standard. There is accommodation for ten adults and up to two small children (one carry cot and a high chair are provided). The house benefits from air con in 2 rooms, wireless internet and satellite TV taking the main UK digital channels, together with DVD and audio.

There are 4 terraces perfect for outdoor dining and sunbathing, a beautiful pool, a barbecue area, a large lawn and a table tennis area. The house takes its name from the ornate ceramics and tiling in the garden and also in the house.

This is an ideal family home or country get away, far from the congestion of the coast but within half an hour of Marbella’s beaches and shopping. Two lively towns, Alhaurin El Grande and Coin, which also has a brand new shopping mall, are under ten minutes away. It is within easy reach of historic Ronda, of the outdoor activities at the El Chorro gorge and the flashy bars and restaurants of Puerto Banus. It is also well positioned to explore Andalucia and for day trips to Seville, Granada, Cordoba and Gibraltar/Tangiers. There is a wide variety of good restaurants in the close vicinity, serving cheap and brilliant local food, mainly to Spanish customers.

Casa Los Mosaicos is in the heart of golf country. Alhaurin Golf is less than 10 minutes away. The picturesque white village of Mijas is just a little further with the choice of Mijas Golf and La Cala Golf, home to the prestigious David Leadbetter Golf Academy. Miraflores Golf, Torrequabrada, Parador del Golf and Cabopino are also all in striking distance.
