House in Nerja area with stunning view of mountains and sea from the balcony. Situated in Punta Lara, a tranquil, very pretty pueblo of whitewashed houses - ideal for families and couples who like quiet, relaxing holidays.

The property is an end of terrace house with magnificant views from the balcony. It is equipped to a very high standard and pleasingly decorated throughout. There is cable TV installed. There are two sets of golf clubs for use by our visitors.

The bedrooms have portable fans for the summer months and electric heaters for the winter. There are even hot water bottles plus hair dryers in each bedroom.

The dining area seats six comfortably for indoor dining and the balcony has table and chairs for outside dining plus a selection of loungers.

All our visitors tell us that they had everything they would want in a holiday house - and more!

The communal pool, with separate childrens pool, is just a minutes/ stroll from the house. The pool is open from Easter to October. There is a lifequard in attendance at all times. There is a snack bar at the pool and restaurant just outside.

Beach chairs for taking to the beach and loungers are also included at the house.

The nearest beach - banana beach - is ony a five minute walk away and can be seen from the balcony. But there are many other cove-type beaches around Nerja - well worth getting into the car for a day out. El Playa beach in the centre of Nerja is popular as you can combine shopping with lunch on the beach and an afternoon of sunbathing and swimming!

Although a car is recommended, arrangements can be made with us for collection from and to the airport.

There is a convenience shop over the road from the urbanisation and the supermarket with parking is a 20-minute walk into Nerja or two minute drive.

You can stroll into Nerja along the pavement or walk along the beach road. There are stops at beach restuarnts along the way!

The nearest restaurant is at the entrance to the urbanisation - a minutes stroll away - the Hotel Avalon - where you can dine on the terrace looking out to sea and the lights of Nerja. There is also a lovely local Spanish-style restaurant which can be reached by a short stroll in the direction of Nerja. There is also a garden restaurant a two minute drive away situated on the beach where the sardinas are recommended!

The Alhambra Palace, Caves of Nerja and Moorish villages are a few of the many attractions of this region. It is advisable to book at the Tourist Office in Nerja or online before your holiday for the day you want to visit the Alhambra as it does get very busy at all times of the year.

Fiestas (with fireworks and bonfires) are very much part of life in Nerja and Nerja celebrates the festival of San Isidro, the patron Saint of farm workers in early May. The main parade of bulls and horses takes place on 15 May with almost everyone dressed in full Spanish costume. In June San Juan, the patron Saint of Fishermen takes place with beach bonfires and free beer and sardines on 24 June. The Nerja Carnival is celebrated for a full week during February and again in October.

The Caves of Nerja host musical concerts during July and August - an experience not to be missed!

There is easy internet access via local WIFI hotspots at the house - tariffs are available to download at competitive rates.

Casa Grianach means “sunshine house” in Irish which is where Chris, my husband, and I lived until we moved back to Cheshire in England in 2008. You will be looked after by our agents, Zena(English, Spanish & French) and Simon, who live on site a few houses up from our house. They are always on call if you need them.
