On our estate you'll find yourselves at home in the real Spain. Breakfast with fresh baguettes, the doors wide open. A walk through nature, a refreshing dip in the pool, tapas with a glass of local wine.

Torre Nova is a small scale holiday resort in the green countryside of Barcelona. The estate breathes serenity, space and comfort - amid authentic Spanish culture and nature. You will stay in a monumental apartment, fully equipped and with maximum privacy. You will enjoy your stay at Torre Nova in all seasons.

Torre Nova is situated in La Torre de Claramunt, a pituresque medieval village near Montserrat. Restaurants, bars, shops and other facilities are all within walking distance from Torre Nova.

The region offers a great variety. Barcelona (45 minutes), the vibrant metropolis of the Mediterranean. Sitges (30 minutes): Spain's St. Tropez. The mysterious mountain of Montserrat, with the famous monastery and the sculpture of the 'Black Madonna'. The Penedès wine region with its famous bodegas, and in every town or village there are the lively summer events.

Torre Nova is the perfect starting point for a varied holiday in Spain.

The apartment features a large living room with diner / kitchen, with stunning views of the pool and the green valley. It has two separate bedrooms and a spaceous bathroom.

The apartment has an original, 4.5 m high, original beamed ceiling, and is extremely comfortable. The rooms are cool in summer and cosily warm in winter (underfloor heating).

The kitchen is fully equipped kitchen (fridge, microwave, electric hob, extractor, dishwasher, kettle, coffee maker, kitchen inventory). The spacious bathroom has a first class shower, toilet and sink. All the bedrooms have extra large beds (quality boxsprings, length 2.10 meters).

The apartment has wide doorways and no thresholds, making it accessible to everyone.

The large garden and estate offer plenty of opportunity to stroll or relax on terraces, lawns, and numerous shady spots. Also an ideal setting for your breakfast or your home delivered dinner... To refresh, enjoy a swim in the large pool of 15 by 5 meters, filled with water from our own natural source. Next to the garden is the fruit orchard where you can pick your own seasonal fruit.

Booking conditions

After receiving your reservation request we will send you a confirmation with payment details. You can pay either by bank transfer or credit card through PayPal. Your reservation is final when 50% of the rental fee has been received by us. The remainder is due 45 days before your arrival. When the reservation is made within 45 days of arrival, we request you to pay the full rental fee.

Returnable deposit

We request a returnable deposit of € 250, payable upon arrival (cash, PayPal or credit card). We trust that you treat your apartment and shared facilities carefully. Should an accident occur, we request you to notify us. Any damage is to be compensated. The deposit will be refunded within 7 days after departure.

We, your hosts at Torre Nova, are Jacqueline Brakel and Geert van Heijningen. In July 2007 we moved with our children from Amsterdam to Catalonia. Besides the climate, particularly the quality of life appeals to us. After one and a half year search looking for the adequate property, during which we saw everything from ruins to priceless palaces, we found the perfect spot for our dream holiday resort: Torre Nova, which opened its doors in 2011.
