Situated in one of the Costa del Sol's most prestigious developments, this spacious family villa is a superb holiday home set in a tranquil location but within easy reach of all amenities. Fully equipped, and including air-conditioning for the summer and heating for the winter, this really is a luxury home away from home.
Breathe nature in the gardens surrounding the villa. Enjoy a BBQ under the gallery with panoramic views of the Mediterranean!
The villa boasts a huge private swimming pool, surrounded by a manicured garden with beautiful plants, flowers and fruit trees. There is a covered gallery with side awnings, for further comfort.
A bbq is available and a large table and chairs is set up under the gallery, so that you can enjoy your meals admiring the Mediterranean and the spring and summer fireworks from our neighbor town, Fuengirola.
Must-see places such as Gibraltar, Ronda, Granada, Marbella and many others can all be visited in one day since they too are within easy reach of the villa.
Accommodation
Bedrooms:
There are three double bedrooms, two of them with en-suite bathrooms. There is also a room with 2 bunk beds for the younger, and a large basement room with 3 sofas that can be used as beds.
All the rooms (except for the basement) have independent AIR CONDITIONED MACHINES.
For the basement we have a moveable AC machine.
Bathrooms:
The master bedroom, on the first floor, has a huge en suite bathroom with bath tub and shower cabin with amazing sea views. A secondary double bedroom has another en suite bathroom.
There are two more bathrooms for the rest of the villa.
Kitchen:
The kitchen is absolutely fantastic! It is fully equipped for long and short term rentals. Appliances include: electric oven, stove, large fridge with freezer and filtered water and ice maker, microwave, toaster, coffee machine, toaster and several small appliances and kitchenware.
Living Room and Dining Room:
Views are almost everything in the Costa del Sol and the living room and dining room in this luxury villa are no exception. The living room has one 3 seats sofa and 4 single armchairs. The dining space has a table and seats eight people comfortably.
A large flat screen with satellite TV is also included.
Cleaning/towels/linen/maid service:
Clean linen and towels are included upon arrival. Cleaning services are included once a week. Additional laundry and maid services can be arranged with anticipation.
Basement room
The house has a large basement room set as an independent area of the villa, with full bathroom and small kitchen. It can be used as TV room, as a fifth bedroom, or simply as a very comfortable living room. It has 2 3 seat sofas, and 1 two seat sofa. There is also a relax armchair.
For the more sporty holiday-maker, many of the Costa's famous golf courses and tennis and paddle clubs are within a 10 to 15 minute drive of the villa and water sport facilities such as diving, sailing, water-skiing, etc. abound along the coast. The famous Nagomi Spa, at the Higueron Club is just minutes by car from the villa.
In the winter, a trip to the Sierra Nevada mountains can have you snow-skiing in the morning with a round of golf in the afternoon or a relaxing sun-bathe by your own private pool.
LOCAL ACTIVITIES
Benalmádena is a big small town with a huge array of services and things to do both for adults only, for teenagers and for families with small kids.
The cable cars to the summit of the Calamorro Mountain, one of the highest spots on the Costa del Sol (800mts), and the new Butterfly Park, with more than 1500 butterflies from all corners of the world are a must. Just across the street there lies the largest Buddhist stuppa in the Occidental world, set in one of the most beautifull sightseeing spots in Southern Spain (Benalmadena Pueblo), where you will take several panoramic pictures.
Most discotheques are located in Puerto Marina and Plaza Solymar (same area) as well as some of the coolest chill out bars and family oriented restaurants (Asian, Indian, Argentinian, Mexican, Italian, Greek, American and of course, Spanish). There is also a promenade from Playa Santa Ana (from the windmills roundabout until Puerto Marina) where you´ll find plenty of sea food restaurants and BBQ.
Settings such as the Mediterranean Sea, Sierra Nevada mountains, ancient white villages of Ronda or Mijas Pueblo, or El Chorro dam with its forbidden “royal path”, just to name a few, will make you feel in different worlds just minutes away from each other.
Andalusia offers all kinds of sporting activities. If you´re into water sports and activities, you´ll find some of the best marinas in Spain where you can sail off on rented yachts and catamarans and do whale and dolphin watching off the coasts of Benalmadena, Marbella and Gibraltar. Fishing for swordfish is a must and you can try your hand at this sport from July to September.
Water sports are played year round in Benalmadena. Kite surfing, rowing, snorkeling, surfing, wakeboarding, water-skiing and windsurfing are the most popular ones.
Minutes away from the villa, you may also try one of the most spectacular experiences, paragliding! This exhilarating sport has become increasingly more popular since the 80’s and now many parts of Andalusia have become a Mecca for this and other air sports.
Popular sports like football (soccer), tennis, aerobics and gyms can be played at the local “polideportivo”, the city public multi sports center as well as a variety of country clubs and other sports centers that are open to the public.
Believe it or not, skiing is also very popular in Malaga! The Sierra Nevada ski resort is located two hours away by car, in the neighboring province of Granada. This is the most southerly ski resort in Europe and it is quite small in comparison to other European resorts.
However, the facilities are considered top rate and it has, therefore, hosted numerous national and international ski Sierra Nevada ski resort has numerous runs of varying difficulties to satisfy all levels of skiers. Natural snow is supplemented by snow cannons on some runs, and many skiers are pleasantly surprised to find that, because of its southerly position, the air temperature is usually warmer than other resorts. Depending on the snow levels, the season generally runs from the end of November or the beginning of December until sometime in April.
Golf is perhaps the most popular visitor sport in the Costa del Sol. With dozens of courses, including the world renowned Valderrama Golf Club, ranked at the very top of Golf World Magazine’s Top 100 Courses of Continental Europe for the past 15 consecutive years, golfers will definitely find their piece of paradise here.
Shopping is also a good idea in La Cañada Shopping Center, Marbella's top mall, where you will find all major brands of clothing and accessories, home and decoration goods, electronics and music stores, plus several restaurants and cinemas.
For those who aspire to the best of the best, Puerto Banus should do with its impressive marina, which has berths for 915 boats, including those of the King of Saudi Arabia and several of the world's wealthiest individuals. You will also be able to count lots of Ferraris, Lamborghinis and Porches, parked by the most exclusive boutiques and fine cuisine restaurants.
If you have kids, you may want to spend a day (or two!) at the Aqualand park in Torremolinos, with its many water attraction for all ages, including the thrilling 'Kamikaze' 25mt high slide (the tallest in Europe) less than 15 minutes by car from the villa.
Parque de la Paloma is Benalmadena´s tiny 'Central Park', with a small lake full of ducks, swans, water turtles and fish that you can feed from the shore and deck. Free roosters and hens, as well as cats and rabbits and some gorgeous Indian peafowl are to be seen everywhere. On a separate section there are goat, sheep, ñandú, and several other species. Cafes and snak bars, as well as slides, swings and other children attractions are on all corners of the park.
There are other parks around that you go to for the day, like Sea Life and Selwo Marina, both in Benalmádena, and Selwo Aventura, a unique park which combines Adventure, Fauna and Nature, in Estepona (less than hour by car).
Plaza Mayor is also a good alternative where you will find plenty of kids activities, including 3D cinemas and a small funfair. This is also a great place to try one of the most varied food courts in Malaga as well as to do some shopping at the Nike outlet or at the more than 50 stores (mostly clothing) located there.
THE WEATHER
The Costa del Sol, and Marbella in particular, is famous for its great weather. With more than 320 days of sunshine every year and an average of 22º Centigrade, this is clearly a great place to be!
