El Médano is also well known for windsourf and kitesourf activities, wich people enjoy the hole year. In fact, temperatures range between 20º and 30º celcius.
It has plenty of nightlife, bars and restaurants. Also there are three hotels and a SPA. El Médano is sorrounded by a natural area wich is unique in the south of Tenerife's Island.
The leisure offer is extended to the municipality of Arona and Adeje where you can enjoy culture activities such as dance, theater and symphonic music in the auditorium Infanta Leonor (Los Cristianos, Arona). All located at 20 km from El Medano. There are tourist resorts such as water parks (Aquapark, Siam Park), attractions (Siam Park and Sky Park and Acualand), various shopping malls with many shops and cinemas. It is also a common area nightlife district, where nightlife is concentrated around the south of the island, with several clubs and pubs over Los Cristianos and Las Americas.
