Gite rural de vacances à Alhaurin El Grande

The house is located on a plot on a small hill and is surrounded by its own vegetation. The original name of the farm "El Cerrillo" means small hill. As it is elevated, the house has extraordinary views; to the South lies Alhaurin el Grande and the Sierra de Mijas and to the North-West the Sierra de las Nieves, which has been declared a biosphere reserve by Unesco.

The farm is situated 1 km away from the Centre of Alhaurin el Grande. This is a town with a long history in which there are various monuments and historical places of interest. Alhaurin el Grande is situated in the Guadalhorce Valley, in which you can enjoy the tranquility of the country and which is less than twenty minutes by car from Malaga, Marbella or any other point on the Costa del Sol. There are two golf courses in Alhaurin el Grande, as well as multiple sports activities such as horseback riding, mountain biking or hiking among others.

Access to the house is from the main road. The isolation and tranquility that is enjoyed by the house is due to its being surrounded by a farm occupying 12000 m2.

This house has been designed following the Andalusian tradition, in a way that adapts to our climatic conditions. It is south-facing which makes it fresh in summer and warmer in winter. In addition, the walls are thick and painted white, there are high ceilings and all windows have blinds.

It is a bungalow style house of 150 m2 of new construction, with good insulation and a plain style. The main entrance overlooks a courtyard with orange trees, a great bougainvillea, jasmine and hibiscus. From the courtyard you access the vestibule. There is a living room with open fireplace, TV and stereo. There is wireless internet access. The kitchen is spacious and bright and fully equipped. From the kitchen you have access to a terrace overlooking the village and the sierra de Mijas. In the remainder of the house there are two bathrooms and a study and three bedrooms. The main bedroom has a terrace overlooking the garden and wood burning stove.

In this house children are very safe. They can enjoy and play on the plot and be in contact with nature.

"The Cerrillo" is an organic farm of olive trees, and with the olives we produce organic oil and table olives. Also on the estate there are figs, pomegranate and other ornamental plants. In the garden are cultivated vegetables and organic seasonal vegetables which we share with our guests. We are associated with other organic producers and we can facilitate the acquisition of organic products that can be consumed during your stay.
