We are proud to welcome you to this spacious and ideally located apartment in the coastal city of Gijón. Perfect for holiday-makers visiting our city.

Its proximity to the A-8 expressway (3 km) allows you to easily visit our many attractions outside the city without the hassle of downtown driving. You are also within an easy 5 minute drive to the Botanical Garden and the Universidad Laboral, a Franco era complex with wonderful architecture, which houses the Laboral Theater, with quality performances.

The Plaza de Toros El Bibio, Gijon´s bullring, is within 100m of the dwelling. As is the peaceful park of Isabel La Católica, with its large children play area, several ponds, many birds, flowers, and trees. It is a good place for an early morning or evening walk. On the southern end of the park is El Molinon stadium, home to El Sporting football Club. On the eastern boundary there is the Pueblo de Asturias museum, and the Feria de Muestras convention center complex. The museum includes several examples of traditional Asturian buildings and there is no fee for entry. And on the north-east boundary you will find the famed Paseo del Muro (Gijon´s boardwalk), and the San Lorenzo beach. The boardwalk communicates with a well groomed trail heading east. You may walk to beautiful Cabo San Lorenzo and its viewing area (5.5 km), or continue all the way to La Ñora beach (10km). The Senda Fluvial trail (19km) starts about 200m from the home and heads out into the immediate countryside until you reach La Camocha. The city of Gijon offers bicycle rentals for this wonderful ride.

The old city area called Cimadevilla, can be reached by walking (20 to 25 minutes), by car (5 minutes) or by bus, the bus stop is just outside the apartment building. You will be pleased to visit the park at Cimadevilla, the San Pedro church, El Ayuntamiento, and the Puerto Deportivo (Gijon´s old harbour). The Gijon Aquarium is just west of this area and has underground parking nearby.

The apartment comes with a complimentary parking space. We also provide a local mobile telephone so that you may contact us in case of any questions. It is a pay as you go unit with 5€ worth of calls, so if you can also use it to make local telephone calls. It is a 3 bedroom, two bathroom unit, suitable for up to 6 adults and 1 baby. There are two double beds and two singles. The baby cot is also complimentary for our younger guests. The kitchen is fully furnished with modern appliances throughout for your convenience. The living area includes a TV, DVD player, and stereo for your downtime enjoyment. There is a washing machine within. There is no additional fee for gas, electric, linen, towels or cleaning.
