Golf del Sur The charming and laid back resort of Golf del Sur is situated on the southern coastline of Tenerife, just a short drive away from the airport.
As its name suggests it is a golf resort; in fact it’s one of the premier golf resorts in the Canary Islands.
Located in the delightful location, the boulevards are lined with plants, shrubs and palm trees, which contrast greatly from the rest of the arid landscape to the south of Tenerife.
AttractionsAside from golf, Golf del Sur presents an ideal location for a tranquil family holiday, with some excellent beaches close by, plus the world renowned Winter Gardens Spa Resort in close proximity.
For your shopping and day today needs you have the commercial area of San Blas, just down the road, which offers all the facilities and services you need for your holiday, plus the local village of Los Abrigos is close by with a pretty harbour and some fantastic seafood restaurants.
GolfThe resort is home to a 27-hole championship golf course, academy and driving range.
Eating outThere is an excellent selection of restaurants and bars both in the resort and in the local village; however, if you are looking for something a little more lively, then the larger resorts of Playa de Las Americas and Los Cristianos are just 15 minutes away.
ClimateThe Canary Islands enjoy practically all year round good weather. They are nicknamed the Islands of Eternal Spring and temperatures rarely drop below 16ºC and rise to around 30ºCin the summer. The climate is influenced by the island close proximity to North Africa.
