OUR VILLA
'CASA KUSHI' is our very special holiday home in the sun, furnished and equipped to a high standard to provide friends and guests with a great place to relax, enjoy the sea, mountains, and all the natural beauty and culture of the local area.
This is a modern 'detached' villa, offering you peace and privacy in a secluded garden with a large private pool surrounded with non-slip tiles, making it ideal and safe for families with young children. The garden with palms and fruit trees, stone BBQ, provides a perfect setting in which to chill out and enjoy al fresco dining, into the long warm summer evenings.
There is also a communal 'tropical pool and restaurant complex' only a short walk from our villa. A great central meeting place for children and families to socialise and make friends, where you can also enjoy light evening entertainment during the summer months. The Spanish restaurant serves tapas and evening meals. There are 3 tennis courts, petanque courts and an outside eating area.
In our villa you will find advice and maps on places of interest to visit, good local restaurants, water parks, golf courses to enjoy during your stay in Mazarron. The villa has a Internet facilities, TV, DVD player with a wide range of English and other European channels and a selection of DVDs (feel free to bring your own to watch too),CD and Radio Player. Internet can be made available for a small charge and there is free WI-FI access at the complex restaurant and local bars - please contact owner for full details prior to booking.
We have a modern dual system providing air-conditioning with hot and cold heating modes. In addition, we have ceiling fans in all rooms and oil radiators as an alternative for those who may prefer to avoid the use of air-conditioning for health reasons.
MAZARRON COUNTRY CLUB
The charm of Mazarron is the Costa Calida Coastline, where the mountains come down to meet the sea, combined with the historical architecture and monuments in the old town of Mazarron. At the new Marina in the Port of Mazarron, you will be spoilt for choice in the many restaurants and bars offering fresh local produce and traditional Spanish dishes, a great place to stroll along the paseo after your meal or cocktails!
Mazarron is still very Spanish and is a popular summer holiday destination for the Spanish. This is reflected in the local restaurants, tapas bars, shops and the very popular Sunday market which should not be missed. Visitors have the choice of many different beaches and coves at which to sunbathe and swim in crystal clear waters of the sea.
Mazarron Country Club is a quiet residential resort with beautifully designed villas, many with their own private pools. It is a safe and pleasant place for families and children to explore their immediate environment and make new friends - people here are very friendly and helpful.

For golf enthusiasts, there is an 18 hole course only 5 mins drive away plus there are many excellent golf clubs in the region. Hacienda de Alamo Golf Course, the new Polaris World Jack Nicklaus Golf Trail consisting of 18 holes courses and the very popular La Manga Golf Club, are all within approx 20-30 minutes drive, full details and maps are provided in the villa.
THE LOCAL COSTA CALIDA AREA
This region has the most days of sunshine in Europe (320days per year), with average annual temperatures of 21 C degrees providing very pleasant summers and very mild winters. We chose the Costa Calida region for its wonderful sandy beaches and the many unspolit coves along its 250km of coastline, surrounded by mountains and high cliffs the area is ideal for walking, cycling and hiking. The crystal clear blue waters are ideal for swimming and the diving schools in the area offer a variety of opportunities to test your deep sea diving skills.
The spectacular Nature Reserve of Sierra Espuna is only 25 mins drive away, with varied walking and cycling routes and opportunities for horse riding. There are excellent restaurants where you can sit on sunny terraces enjoying a traditional spanish cuisine whilst taking in the panoramic views from high altitudes and catching some amazing sunsets.
Murcia city is the cultural and business capital of this region, and provides numerous opportunities to enjoy different musical events, art exhibitions and a vast collection of modern and traditional shops to meet all your shopping needs. The historical towns and ports of Mazarron, Aguilas and Cartegena have interesting seafronts, marinas and protected parks and green spaces and the regular traditional markets are excellent for presents and fresh produce. Throughout this region, visitors can experience the excitement and community spirit of the local fiestas held in Murcia, Totana, Lorca, Categena, and Mazarron during Spring, Easter and Summer. Caravaca de la Cruz, one of the worlds five holy cities is well worth a visit.
We are very close to the prestigious La Manga Club with its five star Hyatt Hotel, three 18 hole golf courses, tennis and football centres and much more. The Mar Menor interior sea has very warm, shallow, calm waters making it perfect for families with young children and visitors may be interested in trying the many medicinal mineral treatments on offer derived from the salt lakes.
This whole area is easily accessible - only 2 hours flight from the UK, with many airlines now offering several routes at very affordable prices. The Costa Calida area is situated in the SE of Spain, between Andalulsia and Valencia and is well supported by a whole new infrastruture of major motorways and the expanding airports of Alicante and San Javier 55 and 25 minutes drive, respectively . Renting a car in Murcia is very easy and cheap via the internet, with pick-ups and drop-offs at all the airports.
