A modern ground floor, two bedroom apartment situated 1.5k from the beaches, Restaurants Bars and Shops of Torrox Costa and a similar distance from the beautiful village of Torrox Pueblo. Situated on the Torrox Park development, the apartment has the benefit of easy access to on complex Shops, Bars and Restaurants (5 minutes’ walk away) whilst providing a quiet location in which to relax and enjoy a peaceful, relaxing holiday.
Bright and tastefully decorated the apartment offers a lounge with comfortable leather sofa, television (English and Spanish Channels), and a fully equipped open plan kitchen with breakfast bar. In addition there is broadband available for a minimal charge on a pay as you go basis.
Step out of the patio doors onto the ample terrace where there is a table, and 6 chairs, 4 sun loungers and gas bar-b-que. The patio is equipped with glass curtains which can be easily moved out of the way for the duration of your holiday during the hot summer months, or moved back in the evening when the weather is a little cooler in the winter months. The patio is an ideal place to relax and soak up the sun, read your book and take alfresco meals. There is a limited sea view from the patio .A large communal swimming pool is just 50 metres away to sunbathe and cool off with a swim.
Bedroom 1 has a comfortable king size bed, bedside tables and built in wardrobe. Bedroom two has comfortable twin beds, bedside table and built in wardrobe. The modern tiled bathroom is equipped with a walk in shower, sink, toilet and washing machine.
There is easy access to park the car close to the front door and plenty of off road parking spaces within a few metres. The property is used regularly by the owner when not rented. It is not a beachfront apartment, although it is only a 20 minute walk from the local beach, popular with the locals and holiday makers. The apartment is safe for children, there is a road 20 metres from the patio, but this is used infrequently and mainly by the residents of the complex. As the apartment is on the ground floor, it is easily accessible for people with mobility problems, but is not recommended for the disabled.
Torrox Pueblo is a beautiful white town approximately 2 kilometres from the apartment complex. The town square is has a number of small bars and restaurants and is a great place to enjoy a meal or a drink and watch the people of the village as they go about their daily lives. The town has maintained its original Medieval layout of labyrinths, winding streets, passageways, arches and geranium covered windows.
The lovely town of Nerja is situated just 5 kilometres along the coast. The beautiful Balcon Du Europa is the focal point of the town and attracts large numbers of tourists. Nerja has many small streets and alley ways there are over 200 bars and restaurants to meet every taste. The Balcon is always busy with street entertainers by day and night. There is a guide book in the apartment which tells you all about Nerja.
The famous Nerja Caves are an absolute must for all visitors, only discovered in the 1950’s these are the biggest and most spectacular caves in Europe.
The picturesque village of Frigliana is a short drive away which earned the title of prettiest village in Spain for several years; they also produce their own local wine.
The small town of La Herrudera is well worth a visit, this is on the opposite side of Nerja, past the caves. There is a long stretch of beach and it is less developed than Nerja but very pretty has an atmosphere all of its’ own.
Granada is a lovely town to visit, and only about 90 minutes away by car. A visit to the Alhambra Palace is also a must. The Siera Navada ski resort is about a further half an hour from Granada, quite a few of our winter guests have visited this resort during their stay.
There are maps and guide books for the area in the apartment, there are also plenty of friendly people on the complex who will recommend places for you to go and see.
