Averaging 320 days of sun, with an annual average temperate of 20 C, La Marina is the ideal location for a Spanish holiday any time of the year.
This modern upper duplex comfortably accommodates two couples or a family of 4 or 5. The living area has a full size sofa and loveseat and includes a 32" flat screen T.V. with DVD player and satellite television.
It has two full size bedrooms each with a double bed, built in wardrobe, dresser and ceiling fan. Fresh linens are provided.
The kitchen is fully equipped with cooker, hob, microwave, pots, pans, dishes, silverware, coffee maker, toaster, kettle etc. and includes a washing machine.
The bathroom has a full size bathtub, shower, wash basin, medicine cabinet and bidet. Fresh towels and a hair dryer are included.
The private rooftop solarium and the balcony off the living area are great places to relax, have a meal and enjoy the Spanish sun.
A car is not essential, but is recommended as there are many exciting things to do and see all along the Costa Blanca and the surrounding area.
There is a beautiful blue flag white sand beach only a short drive from the townhouse where you will find restaurants, tapas bars, a childrens play area, water activities (in season) and free parking. La Marina beach backs onto a lovely pine forest with picnic areas.
There are two gated community pools available for guests to use. The closest pool is only two streets over - a very short walk from the property.
There is a weekly market on Thursdays and Sundays in La Marina, with the Thursday market being the larger of the two. If these days are not convenient for you, there are markets in many of the surrounding villages and communities as well - at least one every day of the week.
There are a good selection of golf courses in the surrounding area including Rojales, which is only 10 minutes away, and Campoamor, Las Ramblas and Villamartin, which are all 20 minutes away.
The urbanization has a wide range of facilities including shops, supermarkets, pharmacies, restaurants (Spanish, Italian, Indian, Chinese), bars, ice cream parlors, bakeries, banks, snooker club, Internet cafes, police station, Tourist information office etc. all within walking distance (or a short drive).
There are many wonderful things to do and see in the area surrounding La Marina. In nearby Santa Pola is Pola Park, a play/activity park for children of all ages. In Elche, often called "The City of Palms" you will find a Safari park and horse riding activities. Alicante boasts an old castle high up on a hill providing incredible views of the beach, sea, marina and seaside promenade. A bit further away in Benidorn you will find even more adventures at the Terra Mitica theme park, Mundamar sealife park and Aqualandia water park. And these are only a few of the sites you will find nearby the quiet, but vibrant, urbanization of La Marina.
Please check out the interactive map on the website carefully before you leave home and do not rely only on GPS. Some programs work well. Others do not.
If you are driving from the Alicante airport, follow the signs staying on N-332 south until you come to the turn-off Leading to the beach or the urbanization (do not take the earlier exits to N-332a or CV-853 as these will take you to the village of La Marina). When you come to the round-about take the first exit to the Urbanization. As you are nearing the urbanization, you will pass a gas station on your left. Once you are in the urb., watch the street signs (all to the left) carefully. The street just before you want to turn left is called Seville. You want to take the NEXT STREET, Bilbao (the street sign is hard to see before you turn, but on your right you will see a blue post with three signs on it - the top sign is for "smart properties"). Take Bilbao Street and follow it for a significant way (don't worry if you see a road sign saying "carretera del Bosque" - it changes names). The road will curve. When you get to a major curve in the road and there are no longer any houses to your left, you should see a row of white townhouses more-or-less straight ahead of you. Turn right at this first row (there will only be apartments on one side of the street) and look for #18. This is the apartment. This road is a steep slope so it is better if you turn around and park downhill and don't forget to use your parking break!

€100 non-refundable deposit is required for bookings of less than 2 weeks; for stays of 2 weeks or longer a €200 non-refundable deposit is required to secure your booking. The remainder is due 6 weeks prior to arrival.
A 60 euro turnover fee is due in cash to the key holder upon your arrival. This service includes preparing the property for your arrival, meeting you at the property with the keys, showing you around the townhouse and providing a phone number for you to call in case you need anything during your visit.
Arrival times earlier than 3:00 p.m. and departure times later than 11:00 a.m. must be approved.
We do not require a damage deposit at this time, but we reserve the right to charge guests for damage done to the premises during your stay.
Nightly rates are for stays of less than one week. For extra nights beyond a one week stay, rates will be pro-rated based on weekly rates.
